Publish It Easy v2.1.9 on Macintosh PowerBook 165c

September 1, 2017

In addition to my Apple II Collection, which comprises nearly all my posts, I have a few PowerBooks and iBooks. Here is my PowerBook 165c running Publish It Easy. It’s made by Timeworks who produced the PublishIt series for the Apple II. The PowerBook version is much more powerful, which you’d expect. The Spell Checker is super fast.

Here’s a link to download it.  http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/publish-it-easy-v219

Standard two column mode with text wrapping around some imported graphics.

Selected 4 column mode; imported ms-word file; adjusted font type and size. Basic stuff.

Overlaying picture, actually a screen snapshot. Different fonts.

Apple 3.5″ Drive for IIGS

December 15, 2016

A drive I picked up. It actually works. Now a lot of external and maybe some internal cleaning is in order.

If you look closely there’s a PublishIt Symbols and Slogans disk inside it. The disk read fine. I was able to catalog and import images to PublishIt 4.

PublishIt v4 on IIGS ROM01 with VGA Adapter on TransWarpGS

October 18, 2016

I was copying a number of print shop images from various SoftDisks to a single floppy. I was able to get 105 images on a single DOS 3.3 floppy. I then decided to test importing them to a PublishIt 4 document. Below are a couple pictures. The second picture is the print preview mode. This was running on my IIGS which has the VGA adapter from ManilaGear.com.
