In 2006 I had no idea what this blog would be about. I was a long time Windows User and in 2005 switched to the Apple Mac platform (actually I had an Apple IIC for a five years in the late 80s). We run both platforms in the family so everyone can get comfortable because you never know where you’re going to land. The whole VintageGeek theme stems from working with these platforms for over 30 years and me being the resident family (big family) fixit man. In 2007 I started migrating all family members off Windows to MacBooks, iMacs, etc because I was sick and tired of resurrecting their Windows machines from the dead. Around 2015 I started my now hobby of Vintage Macs and Apple IIs. This has been great fun. That is when this blog really took off so I could share my experiences.
