Telnet to BBSs via MacBook

I’ve been reading so much about reaching BBSs via Apple IIs i thought I’d start trying using my MacBook before checking out the WiModem232 or Uthernet II. Also, I use to run a BBS in the late 80s and early 90s so I wanted to take in a little nostalgia. Note in the Terminal entry it’s “telnet bbsname”. No // or anything else. It was great to check out the Bulletins, Doors to Games, etc. [ Note: if you click directly on a link at https://www.telnetbbsguide.com it will open a Terminal window and take you to the site. ]

To get a proper ansi display I had to set Terminal language encoding to Latin 1 Dos. This is done in the Terminal preferences.

The A 80s Apple BBS actually runs on an Apple II.
